I’ve created a process to have a solid foundation for my work as a designer within different projects. This flow describes how I approach tasks. Depending on the project, some steps can be replaced or skipped. But there are mandatory ones, which are genially a skeleton of any project I do. I’ve highlighted them with green colour.
The main purpose of the dashboard is to provide insights and visibility into the current sales and orders situation. I designed a default layout but considered that it can be customised by the user. All tiles can be moved via drag and drop across the screen. An expand icon allows users to view a more detailed view of each tile with additional information. Latest Orders tile provides easy access to customer management and the most important insights: ID, name, country, type of ticket, and money paid.
Notifications are a powerful tool for delivering crucial insights and reminders. I concentrated on making them user-friendly and informative. All notifications are grouped by category (e.g., Sales, Campaigns). I ensured consistency by aligning the icons with those in the menu and added descriptions for clarity.
Notifications that require action by the user are supported by a call-to-action (CTA) button. Additionally, all new notifications are highlighted with colour for easy identification
All data on the dashboard can be filtered by locations and time. Filter applied to all tiles added to the screen.
I started by creating Lo-Fi wireframe using Balsamiq. My goal on this step was to make sure that all required content is in place. Then I proceed with high fidelity wireframes in Figma.
I used Atomic Design Methodology to build layout for this project
